Metaphor : ਰੂਪਕ ਅਲੰਕਾਰ Metaphors make direct comparisons between two unrelated things to highlight similarities. ਰੂਪਕ ਸਮਾਨਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦੋ ਗੈਰ-ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਤੁਲਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। Eg: Time is money. He is tiger Simile : ਉਪਮਾ/ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ,ਦੇ ਵਰਗਾ A simile compares two things using "like" or "as" to make descriptions vivid. ਇੱਕ ਉਪਮਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ " like " ਜਾਂ " as " ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੋ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਤੁਲਨਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। Eg: She was as busy as a bee. ਉਹ ਮਧੁਮਖਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ / ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਅਸਤ ਹੈ। He is like a tiger. ਉਹ ਬਾਘ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੈ। Personification : ਮਾਨਵੀਕਰਨ This figure of speech attributes human qualities or actions to non-human entities. ਇਹ ਬੋਲੀ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੈਰ-ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਹਸਤੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦੀ ਹੈ। Eg: The wind whispered through the trees.
