A Ballad  of Sir Pertab Singh –Sir Henry

Newbolt

This  is very beautiful poem written by Sir Henry Newbolt.  It is a very beautiful poem.It gives a very good message. The poet says that all castes are man-made All men are same  in this world. All men are equal in the eyes of God. No one is high or low by caste. All noble persons belong to one caste of brotherhood. Casteism is killing humanity.Humanity is the only true caste. Actually this poem brings out the folly of the caste system .
